Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is the owner of Flight Monitor (theflightmonitor.com). For any data-related enquiry, reply to the address that sends you messages from the service.
What we collect
- Email address — if you create an account or save a price alert. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time link.
- Saved searches — route, dates, currency and an optional price threshold, if you save an alert. We need these to check prices and send notifications.
- Price history — prices found for your saved routes. This is data about flights, not about you.
- Payment data — if you buy Premium, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we keep only a Stripe customer reference and the date your access expires.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We use no tracking cookies and no advertising profiling.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and basic events (such as running a search). Plausible sets no cookies and collects no personally identifying data — which is why there is no cookie banner.
Cookies we do use
Two, both strictly necessary: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers your chosen language. Neither is used for tracking.

- Our flight data provider — we send the route and dates, never your personal details
How long we keep data
Saved alerts are kept until you delete them or their departure date passes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, reply to the address that sends you messages from the service. You may also complain to a supervisory authority (the ICO in the UK, or your national authority in the EU).
